“Rain, rain go away.
Come again another day.
Little freshers want to dance
Rain, rain go away”
So was the rhyme of some students last night (14th October, 2017) when they went all out to meet with their music “gods” Kinaata and Wisa against the whims of nature at the Jophus Anamoah Conference Centre. Frustrating as the situation could be, some students left the event grounds. Others defied the odds to stay on till the rain paved way for their mission there.
The rain delayed the event till about 3:10am. A campus artiste by name Kojo Fyneboy, a level 300 French student kept the students on their toes before the main event. There were several other campus artistes who became sages for the moment. Due to the rain other programs including FASHION SHOW, COMEDY and POETRY couldn’t happen as planned.
Whatever must be, must be not matter what. No amount of rain changed the face of the programme.
Amazingly enough, Kinaata and Wisa waited for the rain to subside for them to offer their. worth.
Whosoever was there can attest that the moment was really worth it. At least they got value for money from their SRC dues.
At the climax of it all was the hit track of Kinaata “CONFESSION” after his stage mate Wisa was done with his side of the bargain. The curtains were drawn at 5:20am.
