GRASAG-KNUST to launch entrepreneurship competition on 17th November

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology chapter of Graduate students Association of Ghana, GRASAG-KNUST, is set to launch the 2017/2018 entrepreneurship competition which seeks to support its members with funding, mentorship and training.

The motive behind this initiative is to help reduce unemployment among graduate students  and to ensure they contribute meaningfully to support Ghana’s economy.

According to the chairman of the entrepreneurship committee, Mr. Kennedy Oppong Nimako,  this year’s scheme seeks to support shortlisted graduate students of KNUST with an amount not less than 5000 Ghana cedis in addition to mentorship and training from renowned and established entrepreneurs.

The launch of this year’s programme is scheduled to take place at the college of science auditorium on 17th November, 2017 at 11am. Postgraduate students are advised to register and stand a chance of benefiting from the initiative.

GRASAG-KNUST is organizing this programme with National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan, NEIP. The chief executive officer of NEIP, Mr. John Kumah and other renowned personalities are expected to grace the occasion on 17th November, 2017.
