UEW: Julia Ampongmaa Crowned Miss UEW 2019

A level 300 Special Education student, Julia Ampongmaa, was in the early hours of saturday 11th May 2019 crowned Miss UEW 2019 at the Jophus Anamoah Mensah Conference Center, University of Education, Winneba.

A night of spectacular performances from our beautiful contestants, a cheering and supporting crowd there to cheer their various contestants to victory and crowned Queens. The program started with Red Carpet Interviews asking of our audience what their expectations for the night are, the night started heating up with performances from various campus artist such as Jay Sconzy the UEW ambassador, PJ and a host of others.

Our ladies brought life to the house with their wonderful choreography , then to their various project presentations some presenting on sanitation, entrepreneurship and aiding physical challenged people.

The wow effect was made out of their cultural presentations, a dance challenged called forth by the MC’s among the audience and the second choreography by our lovely contestants. From their choreography we zoomed straight to their various talent display and the catwalk by the beautiful ladies.

Every lady was given a hamper for being part of the contest. Miss Talent went to Julia contestant number 7, Miss Eloquent for Janet contestant number 2, Miss Catwalk/Miss Top model went to Evelyn, Leticia contestant number 5 was given Miss Project, Forgive contestant number 6 awarded Miss Personality.

EVICTION
Vincentia, Dzifa and Janet were evicted before the final round.The ladies were questioned on their projects and they proved themselves having knowledge of what they are about. The reigning Queens gave their final speech which automatically paves way for the final verdict and crowning of new Queens.

The much awaited times comes now when: 1st Runner happens to be Naya contestant number 4, Forgive was crowned 2nd Runner up and Julia Ampongmaa is our Miss UEW and New Reigning Queen from Special Education Department. We wish you a successful reign our Ladies. Stay blessed.
