“Utumwa” A Dance Production by the Department of Theatre Arts, UEW


“Utumwa”(Reliving History) is a dance production that touches on the pain, the torture and humiliation our ancestors went through during the trans Atlantic slave. It seeks to relive history and create awareness on the emancipation day celebration in Ghana “Utumwa” is a dance production choreographed by a final year student, Boako Isaac Kwame.

The programme is scheduled as follows: Date: Monday, 6th May and Tuesday, 7th May; 2019.

Venue: Amu Theatre, Central Campus
