547 applicants have been shortlisted for oral assessment for admission into BSc. Human Biology (Medicine) in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
All listed applicants are expected to report at the School of Medical Sciences, KNUST at 7:30 am prompt for the interview scheduled to take place on Monday 19th August and Tuesday 20th August 2019 respectively.
Management of the university is expected to officially release the full admission list of qualified applicants for the 2019/2020 academic year in the coming days.
It is anticipated that over 16,000 students are expected to be admitted into postgraduate and undergraduate levels from over 40,000 applications.
KNUST records a 3.59% increase in female admission in the 2018/2019 admission
Ghana’s premier Science and Technology University, KNUST recorded a significant increase in female student population from 37% in 2017 to 40.59% in the 2018 admissions.
This according to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kwasi Obiri Danso, is part of efforts to boost female education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
The University has made modifications in entry requirements for female student applicants and the adjustment in the cut-off points to significantly encourage females to patronize those related programs for the benefit of the society.
