Cephas Kwetey wins Eastern Regional NASPA Vice Presidential Slot

Cephas Kwetey; Eastern Regional NASPA VEEP Elect


The Regional Delegates Conference of the NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONNEL ASSOCIATION (NASPA) Eastern Region held in Kyebi yesterday saw the election of new crop of regional executives to steer the affairs of the Association.

Cephas Kofi Kwetey who won the Vice Presidential Portfolio in a landslide on monday, setting himself up to be the candidate who pulled the highest votes at the conference.

Cephas Kofi Kwetey pulled 98 out of the 137 valid votes cast and hence secured an unprecedented victory over his other two contenders Sammy and George who pulled 24 and 15 votes respectively.

Cephas went into the regional contest after obtaining massive endorsement in the Yilo Krobo Municipality’s NASPA election to the high office of President November last year.

Cephas who was the National President for the Ga-Dangme Students Union for 2019 has over the years proven to be a leader of of great sense of humility, moral ethics and hardwork, his successes and electoral fortunes do not in any way come as a chance; it is the reposition of confidence in his leadership prowers and a result of his hardwork and passion for service.

Cephas has proven to be an enthusiastic, hardworking and and a leader of integrity and we believe his election to this new office will come with pragmatic leadership and policies that will uplift the NASPA front in the region.
