USAG Women’s Commission In Collaboration With PASAG Women’s Commission Donate To Safe Haven Children’s Home.

The USAG women’s commission in collaboration with the Physician Assistant Students’ Association women’s commission donated to Safe Haven Children’s home.

On the 2nd of January, 2019, the USAG women’s commissioner and PASAG women’s commissioner donated items to the children at Safe Haven Children’s home. They arrived there at 11:30 am in the morning. They were first welcomed and taught a brief history of the children’s home. They also had the opportunity to ask questions. Later, they had a party with the children where they played ”pick and act ”, musical chairs and dancing competition.

Items that were donated are drinks, a bag of rice, oil, nido, t-rolls, washing powder, biscuits and many others.
In attendance was Miss Dorothy Mensah, the USAG women’s commissioner; Miss Freda Amartey, the PASAG women’s commissioner; Miss Christabel Queensley Derby, the SRC president of King’s University College ;the PASAG national president and other executives, Miss Monica Koki, Local NUGS women’s commissioners UCC, Miss Kate Rocklin, Miss Esther Apreko and many others.

The care taker of Safe Haven Children’s home at Adenta expressed his gratitude to them for their kind gesture and the children were very delighted by their visit.
